Jodie Waumsley

Jodie joined Outset Group’s safety business UKHSE in 2020 as a Radiation Protection Adviser (RPA).

She ensures employers are using radiation in the workplace in compliance with the Ionising Radiations Regulations 2017. Jodie also helps to instil best working practices to restrict exposure to ionising radiations and keep doses as low as reasonably practicable.

Jodie started her career as a personal assistant in a nuclear power station before qualifying as a Radiation Protection Technician in 2011. From 2014 onwards she began training and gaining experience to become a Health Physicist whilst collecting evidence towards her RPA portfolio.

She qualified as an accredited Health Physicist in 2015 which allows her to provide radiological advice.
